Eagle County Paramedic Services is hiring!
We are accepting applications for a full-time Information Technology Specialist to be located at our Edwards headquarters. The position is budgeted for 40 hours per week and is a salaried position. The position will responsible for System Administration (SA) and effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure (including remote servers/access points). Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of standard Project Management Methodology. Activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.
Accountable for EMR/billing, asset tracking, financial, access control systems, security and other internal systems that support IT infrastructure; support of Mac, Windows and other Application systems; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, communications, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
Desired Education/Experience: Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science. Systems Administration/System Engineer certification Microsoft. Certified in CompTia A+, Security+, Network+, Cloud+, Server+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, or comparable certifications. Four to six years system administration experience. A combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis
Salary dependent on education and experience. This position is eligible for full-time benefits.
