Katie Coakley is a public relations professional with almost 20 years of experience. She joined EC Paramedics in 2020 and gained her EMT certification in December 2020.
She began her public relations career at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Breckenridge, CO in 2004 and joined Peeples Ink PR, a Vail-based strategic communications company specializing in resort, lifestyle, and business communications, in 2006. In January 2011, Katie established Katydid PR. She also began her career as a freelance journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines including Outside online, Hemispheres, Business Insider, 5280.com and more.
As the Marketing/Communications/PIO specialist at EC Paramedics, Katie is responsible for internal and external communications, crisis communications, public information needs, media relations and more.
