Human Resources Generalist

Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS) seeks a Human Resources Generalist to help support our first responders and those that serve them in their important roles in our community.

Position Overview

The ideal HR Generalist will have a working knowledge of Human Resources, paired with excellent communication, commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and a desire to learn and grow. You will support the ECPS staff’s employment life cycle from recruitment to offboarding.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR or a similar role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred).
  • Solid understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures required.
  • Highly detail-oriented, able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Google suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate range: $33.05- $42.93 (based on experience and qualifications).
