Summary:

Administers basic and advanced life support to sick and injured persons in the out-of- hospital setting under the direction of the District Medical Director utilizing District protocols.

This position will primarily function as a 911 paramedic; the successful candidate will also be involved with critical care patients. The Critical Care Paramedic will attend all critical care trainings and meetings and after successful field training, will assist in growing and developing our critical care program.

As a paramedic, the successful candidate will take the lead on 911 calls, direct EMT partners, be responsible for patient care and complete patient care reports.

Shift Schedule:

Full-time, year round: 48 hr / 96 hr schedule

Compensation:

  • Compensation is $24.42-$31.59/hour with an expected annual salary of $80,098-$103,615 (OT opportunities are available based on business needs)
  • Additional Merit Rate: 1%-3%
  • Additional Bi-lingual Merit Rate: 2%
